That’s unfortunate. If you’re only a few minutes late, we recommend contacting your customer and updating them of your status, as this can help you avoid a late arrival withholding fee. If you’re more than half an hour late without alerting the customer, it counts as a failure to arrive, and you’ll be charged a fee. To update your arrival time, go to Job Support, and select Update arrival time in the Handy Pro app.
If the customer decides to cancel after you've updated your arrival time, there's no fee, but you also won't be paid for a completed job.
